COME ON SUMMER!!

Kindergarten...here I come!

Five years have gone by and our little baby girl is not a baby anymore. Today was the first day of school. We got up early, had breakfast, we even had time to watch cartoons. Kaitlyn got dressed all by herself and off we went. Kaitlyn gave me a hug and a kiss and said, "Bye Mom....I love you." She stood in line with her friends, she waved a few times and walked right in like she had been doing it for weeks. We couldn't be more proud of her. I cried the whole way home. I can't wait to pick her up!!

Seriously!!......BOYS!

Every time I'd heard a story about how mischievous boys are, and how they get into everything, and nothing is sacred, I always thought they were over exagerating. I remember saying to myself "they can't be that bad." Well, it's true, they really are that bad. I never imagined I would be the one telling the stories. The most recent one is when Jared found an 'Extreme Chocolate Cake' recipe and wanted to try it. The cake stands 4 layers high with frosting between each layer. It was the first layered cake we had tried to make. The next day I was looking for Boston and when I called for him I heard a mumble from the kitchen. I found him on top of the table with his fist in the middle of the cake! I'll let the rest of the pictures speak for themselves.

He really is the sweetest little boy though....

Beautiful Ballerina

Kaitlyn was so beautiful at her ballet recital. She did such a great job and never missed a step. We are so proud of her. We just wish she would stop growing up so fast.

New Addition

Our new addition Jet arrived on June 19th. We are happy to have him, and we are all exhausted from watching after him.

The Many Faces of Kaitlyn

I've noticed that even though Kaitlyn is just 5 years old she has perfected many different facial expressions over the years.
I found myself smiling and laughing out loud, as I'm sure you will too.

Just Havin' Fun

Saturday Kaitlyn and I went to the Safe Kids Fair. She had her face painted like a Bunny, and a clown made her a balloon hat. The hat kept hitting everyone in the face....it was pretty funny, we had a great time. We went to the park on Sunday to play and fly Kaitlyn's kite. She wasn't much interested in the kite, but Boston was.
